Solutions to Difficult Equine Orthopedic Problems
-
Description
This AO VET NA Masters Online course will address a persistent practice gap regarding complex equine orthopedic repair: the small numbers of available clinical cases. Due to financial restrictions and the need for high-level athletic outcome after intervention, fracture repair in the horse is not always attempted. As a result, clinical cases and knowledge of best practices are lacking for certain injuries.
Within four 90-minute weekly sessions, leading equine fracture repair surgeons will share experiences with participants and help improve our collective knowledge of these injuries. Online course modules will be provided to prepare for each week’s session.
These modules along with the interactive case discussions will be accessed through Totara, our one-stop-shopping online portal.
