Apply for an AO VET NA Preceptorship Program

Visit a host surgical center and receive up to four weeks of training in AO techniques

The AO VET North America Preceptorship Program provides an opportunity for surgical residents of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) who are interested in Veterinary Trauma and/or Veterinary orthopedics to visit a host surgical center and receive up to four additional weeks of training and experiences in AO techniques. In particular, the Preceptorship Program will familiarize the surgical resident with indications, planning, techniques and pitfalls of osteosynthesis as judged by AO experts.

The duration of the preceptorship must be between two weeks and four weeks. The program award includes a stipend for housing and travel costs of $1750 for the first two weeks and $500 for each additional week (max: $2550).
