07 April 2021

AO CMF North America sent out an open call in late 2020 and received many excellent applications from fellowship programs within the United State and Canada in the fields of craniomaxillofacial surgery.

A standardized evaluation process was used to holistically vet the applications based on quality, consistency, and evidence of academic and scientific excellence at the institution.

The following Fellowship Sites were awarded $20,000 for the 2021/22 AO CMF NA Fellowship Award:

Head and Neck Foundation (OMFS) Hospital for Sick Children (OMFS)

Additionally, the fellows at the selected sites must meet educational and academic requirements such as attending an AO basic and advanced course as well as submit an article to Craniomaxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction (CMTR), the AO CMF journal, during their fellowship year.
