The AO Spine North America Research Committee invites young investigators from North America to apply for the Young Investigator Research Grant Award. This research funding, available to new investigators (within five years of first appointment) providing start-up research funding of up to $20,000 for one year.

The applicant must be an AO Spine member, and a physician/surgeon/researcher who has a desire to perform high-quality, clinically relevant spinal or spinal cord research in basic or clinical science and with an appointment at a university or hospital-based research institution.
